With her extensive experience of sustainability in aviation Ann-Sofie is Head of Sustainability at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines since April 2022, where she is responsible for the company’s Sustainability strategy to be a driving force towards Net Zero emission. SAS is Scandinavia’s leading airline for smooth flights to, from, and within Scandinavia. In addition to her position at SAS, Ann-Sofie is a member of the IATA Sustainable & Environmental Committee, the Star Alliance Sustainability Committee, and the board of directors at the JetPerfect Foundation. 

Prior to joining SAS Ann-Sofie have eight years’ experience managing Sustainability at Braathens Regional Airlines where she gained an expertise in SAF for aviation, including leading an industry group with airlines and airports to put SAF on the market for aviation in Sweden, in addition to managing public affairs within aviation’s climate challenges.  Besides aviation, Ann-Sofie recently worked as an Investment Manager in sustainable startups.
