Tom Andrews leads Velocys' UK engineering team, harnessing Velocys' core Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) technology and extensive experience in establishing deliverable sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) projects.

 With a multifaceted background spanning engineering, operations, project management, leadership, and advisory roles across major corporations, independent organizations, and start-ups, Tom dedicates his expertise to delivering Cleantech projects.

Tom's focus is on leveraging the technical and commercial tools and experiences garnered over nearly two decades across the full project lifecycle in upstream oil & gas, and later in carbon removal, CCUS, and green hydrogen, to accelerate sustainable solutions. He actively seeks to collaborate across industries, recognising the value of incorporating diverse thinking in delivering the energy transition.

 Tom earned his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, UK, with specialism in Aerospace Engineering.
